गेल्या ३५० वर्षांपासून येवला शहरात दसऱ्यानिमित्त सीमोल्लंघन खेळण्याची परंपरा आजही अखंडितपणे सुरू असून नवरात्रात नऊ दिवसांपासून घरोघरी घटस्थापना करण्यात आली होती. दसऱ्याच्या दिवशी नऊ दिवस पूजन केलेल्या घटांचे विसर्जन केल्यानंतर येवला शहरातील गंगादरवाजा भागात असलेल्या मंदिरांमध्ये नागरिकांनी दर्शन घेऊन आपट्याचे पाने खरेदी करत मोठ्या प्रमाणात येवला शहरवासीयांनी सीमोल्लंघन खेळण्याचा आनंद घेतला.
