महाडमधील प्राचिन देवता महिकावंती देवीच्या मंदीरात ५६भोग सुरु आहेत. उत्सव आयोजकांनी महाडमधील महिलांना ५६ भोग बनवण्यासंबधी अवाहन केले होते. या अहवानाला एवढा प्रतिसाद मिळाला असुन भक्त सहभागातुन महिकावंती देवीच्या मंदिरात गेली तीन दिवस रोज ५६भोग नैव्यद्य दाखवला जात असुन पुढील दोन दिवसांची रिघ कायम आहे.
