26 जुलै 1999 रोजी भारतीय लष्कराने कारगिलमध्ये विजयी झेंडा फडकावला. तेव्हापासून 26 जुलैला कारगिल विजय दिवस साजरा करण्यात येतो. त्यामुळे 1999 सालच्या युद्धातील आठवणींना उजाळा देत आज कोट्यवधी भारतीय वीर जवानांना श्रद्धांजली वाहत आहेत. सोशल मीडियावरुनही या जवानांच्या कार्याचा गौरव करत त्यांना आदरांजली वाहण्यात येत आहे.
